The Streets Culture 3 - Bratislava

You get, you have to give back. We do it for the culture!

This past June, Bratislava’s shopping mall Prior was transformed into a vibrant hub of street culture for the third edition of The Streets Culture event. Hosted by The Streets, this year’s event built upon the momentum of previous editions, delivering an unforgettable experience that brought together street sports, art, music, and urban lifestyle under one roof.

A Day of Thrills, Skills, and Urban Vibes

The highlight of the sports segment was the new elimination pyramid system, which added an extra layer of intensity to the competition. With a total prize pool of €3,300, athletes had more than just bragging rights on the line. Each sport had its ambassador who handpicked six contenders, with the final eight being decided through fierce on-the-day qualifiers. Even those who didn’t make it to the top walked away with cash prizes for every knockout victory, ensuring that everyone had a chance to win.

Streetball was, as always, a crowd favorite, led by EjZi from The Streets. Meanwhile, Richie Elias brought his signature flair to the skateboarding sessions, representing Life is Porno. This year, dance also made its debut, with Spunkey and T-boy leading the charge, bringing a fresh rhythm to the event.

Art, Fashion, and Creativity Collide

The Streets Culture isn’t just about sports—it’s a celebration of all aspects of street culture. The back of the shopping mall was transformed into The Street Culture Gallery, where artists from the urban community showcased their work. From graffiti to graphic designs, the gallery was a testament to the creativity and diversity of street art.

Attendees also had the chance to get hands-on with their fashion, creating custom t-shirts using screen printing and heat press techniques, exclusive to the event. The event merch was a hit, but nothing beat the thrill of walking away with a unique piece you designed yourself.

Conversations that Matter

The event also provided a platform for thought-provoking discussions. UFC star Jirka BJM Prochazka shared insights into his MMA career, while Vít Krejčí talked about his journey to the NBA. The RCLS CREW led a graffiti talk, and Risa Zelinka and Richard Elias debated the finer points of scooter versus skate culture. Mario Bihari rounded out the discussions with a business talk, offering valuable lessons for aspiring entrepreneurs.

A Night to Remember: The After-Party

As the sun set, the energy only intensified. This year, The Streets Culture evolved into a full-day affair, culminating in a legendary after-party. Sponsored by Semtex, the AIR Party wagon rolled into Kamenné námestie, bringing with it an evening of non-stop music and good vibes. Fans were treated to a set by Separ and his crewman @smartdmskgb, setting the stage for a night of unforgettable performances.

NobodyListen headlined the party, with Smart as his special guest, turning the after-party into a must-attend event. Rudeboys Radio took over next, ensuring that the dance floor was packed until the early hours of the morning.
